Ancient myths are history. Some secrets should never be found.

Two centuries ago, a secret expedition shadowing Lewis and Clark vanished into the Idaho wilderness, leaving behind only rumors, a handful of cryptic journals, and one dying explorer's claim that he had looked upon "evil made flesh."

Now, when a university field trip disappears in the same mountains, archaeologist Michael Rempart joins the search. Instead of finding the missing students, he uncovers a hidden world no one believed could exist.

Beyond the modern world lies a forgotten valley where alchemy is real, legends still breathe, and a lost book holds the key to the Philosopher's Stone—and perhaps immortality itself.
